Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport has undergone significant upgrades to enhance passenger amenities and elevate the overall travel experience. Among these improvements is the addition of a new Capital One Lounge, designed to bring a high-quality, hospitality-focused environment to travelers within the terminal.
The 8,000 sq. ft. lounge provides a refined setting with modern finishes and curated amenities, supporting Capital One’s expanding airport lounge program and offering passengers a more comfortable and elevated pre-flight experience.
AxD was retained by Gensler to join the design team, contributing to the Schematic Design and Construction Administration phases of the Capital One Lounge. In collaboration with Gensler, the team played a key role in delivering the project, which was completed in June 2025.
